HF-A21 Setup

Device Wi-Fi Setup

Keep this page open while switching networks. Setup is designed for AP mode and does not require continuous platform connectivity during local configuration.

Step 1

Connect to your device

  1. Open Wi-Fi settings on your phone or laptop.
  2. Join the HF-A21 setup network (default SSID format: HF-A21-XXXX).
  3. Stay connected to the device AP before continuing.

Step 2

Open device login

When prompted, log in with username admin and password admin.

Then go to STA Interface Setting and enter the client Wi-Fi name and password.

Apply the settings, then go to AP Interface Setting and set Security Mode to WPA2-PSK, WPA Algorithm to AES, and optionally set the AP passphrase.

For security, change the default admin password after commissioning where supported.

Enter your network details

Step 4

Send configuration

Send credentials directly to the local device over HTTP from your browser session.

If exact HF-A21 endpoint mapping is unavailable, this step falls back to a safe placeholder success state and marks where command mapping is still required.

Step 5

Reconnect and verify

  1. Reconnect your phone/laptop to your normal Wi-Fi.
  2. Wait for the device to reboot and join the target network.
  3. Run the online check below.

Status

Follow steps in order. Wi-Fi credentials are only used in-memory for this session.
